Casey Zaph's Game Day

7:00 a.m.
Get up nice and early ( so that I can nap later). Walk the beast (dog) and pack my bags.

8:30 a.m.
Leave Toronto with a three hour drive to Rochester. Coffee and a muffin @ Tim Horton's for me, hot chocolate for my wife and a nice long nap for my son.

11:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Check in at the 4 Points hotel. Head over to the War Memorial arena for Pre-Game shoot around (this usually includes riding a stationary bike, maybe playing some ping pong and about 45 minutes on the floor).

1:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Team Lunch at The Distillery : A well-done 12 oz. steak with rice and Veggies (the usual but I'm not afraid to mix it up), pineapple juice and lots of H2O.

3:30 p.m.
To quote C.Malawsky, I usually "hit the wrapper" for a nap , depending what is on TV. Wake up call for 5:00 pm --> Hot shower and then head over to arena.

5:30 p.m.
Arrive at the Blue Cross War Memorial . Relax. Read the statistics provided by our media guru (Craig aka "Ripper") and continue to hydrate (50:50 water to Powerade mix).

6:00 p.m.
Light warm-up and "mental focus" (usually sit in the stands and watch both teams warm-up) Put on the gear for full warm-up. Drink a Red Bull or SOBE Adrenaline Rush to give me a kickstart for the game.
