Welcome to the Game Day section of the PLPA web site. Game Day is a segment that features players and how they prepare for games including what they do during the day of a game as a chronology. This segment will feature Thomas Still of the Washington Power . Thomas Still Game Day10:30 a.m. - off to the gym with Johnny and Devo. 12:30 p.m. - stop at Giant and buy the pregame meal, Chicken and pasta. 1:30 p.m. - watch game tape and get mentally prepared,while cooking my chicken. 3:30 p.m. - head off to the Caps center. 3:00 p.m. - Watch a little TV or read for about 30 min. 4:30 or 5:00pm - arrive at the arena talk to the team for a while about the night before. 5:30 p.m. - put the leg and pants on and throw the ball around. 6:00 p.m. - get ready for some shots, have a good warm up and think about the game. 7:15 p.m. - come back in the room and clear my mind of everything. (not hard to do). 7:35 p.m. - Time to win a game.After the game its time to have a couple pops in the "Captains Room" with the fans and the boys on the team. 12:00 a.m. - Head out to the spot to be at as picked by the man who always knows where the party is at Johnny Brothers. |
