RE: Jim Moss Fundraiser

Last September Colorado Mammoth player Jim Moss was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (related article). This is an illness that attacks your immune and peripheral nervous system. Jim has had to re-learn to walk. Ron Moss (Jim's father) contacted the PLPA to inform us that a fundraiser is being run by The Rotary Club of Port Elgin to help pay a portion of Jim's medical bills which are in excess of $500,000 where Jim will have to pay approximately 10%.

The fundraiser will be held February 20th at the Lakeshore Recreation Centre in Port Elgin. They are looking for various sport memorabilia including lacrosse items that can be auctioned off. Any items that can be autographed by players would be appreciated.

Items can be sent to Ron Moss's home address: 668 Gustavus Street, Box 2382, Port Elgin, Ontario NOH 2C0 It would be helpful if all items are received by February 13th so they can do what is necessary to get ready for the auction. Any items received after the date of the live auction will automatically go to a online auction being planned for later in March.
