2009 NLL ALL-STAR GAME & WEEKEND FESTIVITIES
On Friday, March 6, Pepsi Center will play host to the NLL All-Star Experience. Doors will open at 6pm for a non-ticketed and free interactive fan event on the home floor of the Colorado Mammoth. Both the East and West All-Star players will be present and available for photos and autographs. The event will feature contests, displays, interactive demonstrations and booths with various activities. Wooly, the Colorado mascot, will be present as well as the Wild Bunch, the team's dance squad. At 8pm, the talents of the players take center stage during the All-Star Skills Challenge. The Skills Challenge begins at 10pm ET/8pm MT and will be broadcast live on the NLL Network. The Friday night capper will be a party in the Blue Sky Grill at Pepsi Center featuring the players, coaches and dancers. All-Star Saturday will kick off early at Pepsi Center with a variety of Colorado Youth Lacrosse Association games inside the venue. The National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame luncheon will be held in The Ridgeline on the ADT Club Level at Pepsi Center, where the new member(s) will be inducted as the class of 2009. Tickets for the luncheon will be available to the public with special access surrounding that event. The Hall of Fame ceremony will be broadcast live on the NLL Network. At 9pm ET/7pm MT Saturday, the East All-Stars will face off against the West All-Stars in the highlight of the weekend. The game will be broadcast live on the NLL Network. Following the game, players will be available on the field for autographs. The NLL has announced the starting lineups for its 2009 All-Star Game, which will be played at Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday, March 7th. The Eastern and Western Division starting lineups were determined by the combined votes of the league's general managers, league media, and fans. 2009 All-Star Game Reserves Selected
The National Lacrosse League has announced the reserves for the 2009 All-Star Game, which will be played at Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday, March 7th. The Eastern and Western Division starting lineups were announced earlier this week. A total of 36 players will participate in the All-Star Game. The All-Star teams will each be coached by a member of the league's Hall of Fame Class of 2009. Jim Veltman will coach the Eastern Division All-Stars, while Dallas Eliuk will coach the Western Division All-Stars. Both will be inducted into the league's Hall of Fame on March 7, in a ceremony to take place at Pepsi Center in the afternoon. The Boston Blazers traded their fourth round selection in the 2009 Entry Draft to Buffalo in exchange for the 44th overall selection in the 2008 Entry Draft. The Boston Blazers traded John Gallant to Colorado in exchange for Jason Bloom and the 56th overall selection in the 2008 Entry Draft. The Calgary Roughnecks have traded their fourth round selection in the 2009 Entry Draft to the Boston Blazers in exchange for the 50th overall selection in the 2008 Entry Draft. 2008 All-Star Game![]() Edmonton, AB - After many months of planning, the Edmonton Rush are pleased to announce the details about the festivities and events that will lead up to the 2008 All Star Game on March 16th. "We were very excited to have the opportunity to host the All Star Game when it was announced by the NLL back in March of 2007," said Bruce Urban, Owner and Governor. PLPA Development CampThe PLPA sponsored the 1st Windsor Minor Lacrosse Camp which was run and conducted by NLL Champion John Rosa and All Stars Ryan Cousins of the Minnesota Swarm and Goaltender Matt Roik of the Philadelphia Wings. All camp participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves while learning the game of lacrosse from the pros on and off the floor.
